“Resident of the Month”

for November is:

Robert

 

Robert was born and raised in Lima, OH.  He joined the U.S. Navy in 1946 and served until 1949.  Robert returned from the Navy and moved to Bluffton, OH, where he met and married Gertrude.  Robert and Gertrude have four children; three daughters and a son.  Sadly, Robert and Gertrude divorced and Robert moved out West.  Robert lived in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and then settled in Arizona, where he met and married Roberta.  They were married for 15 years before Roberta passed away due to an illness in 2003.  Robert then decided to return home to Ohio in 2006 and became a resident here at Auglaize Acres.  Robert loves socializing with people, and enjoys dancing and music.  He has a beautiful voice as well, and we often hear him singing along with any musical entertainment and sing-alongs.
